21 Day Reset

Adapt

A 6 Week Program to Upgrade Your Metabolism and Burn Fat

If you fully commit to this program you can expect increased energy, body recomposition, a decrease in cellular inflammation and you WILL be a lean, mean fat burning machine!

Here’s the scoop!

 

If you eat more carbohydrates than your body is able to use, it gets stored as glycogen (sugar) in your liver.  When your glycogen stores fill up, the body easily converts the sugar to stored fat in order to save energy as body fat.

In these six weeks you will transition your body to utilize your fat storage to fuel your body instead of using sugar as your fuel.

 

In the Adapt program we strategically help you schedule carbohydrate "refeed" and "restrict" days to optimize fat burning and reach your goals. 

 

Our nutrition section is comprehensive giving you a customizable schedule, recipes, a grocery guide. They say "abs are created in the kitchen" and nutrition fosters 80% of the benefits you see however we cannot minimize the importance of movement. We provide a variety of HIIT workouts to sweat to in 15-30 minutes as well as gentle movement classes for your rest days. The lean muscle you gain and preserve  through out HIIT workouts will determine your resting metabolism and the body’s ability to burn body fat.

 

Lean Body Mass (LBM) helps to regulate your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) which is the amount of calories you burn when your body is at rest. Yes you can burn calories when you are at rest, this sounds crazy right!? The more you convert to LBM, the more efficient your BMR will be. Then your body is working for you even when you are not physically working. Umm... can we get a "Hell Yes!"

Dive Deep

A 21 Day Journaling and Meditation Program.

Stress used to come from real threats... like worrying about not being able to catch food to feed yourself and your family or running away from a predator that wants to make you their food! In today's world, our stress mostly comes from non-life threatening or perceived stress and instead of acute moments of stress, we are living with chronic stress.

 

It's pretty hard to even have the conversation about optimizing our health if we are in a chronic state of stress. There is nothing optimal about living in stress. Stress sends our body into survival mode which means our body begins to store fat and we gain weight, we cant think clearly because of brain fog, we experience a lack of sleep, lack of sex drive, we feel overwhelmed and our body slowly begins to shut down.  This cannot be sustained. With chronic stress we lose our innate ability to heal ourselves and disconnect from our own intuition.

Over time, as we react to non-life threatening stressful situations in the

 same way as real life threats, our brain will form new, unhealthy pathways. 

Pathways turn into highways, making it easier and faster to react in these unhealthy ways, and harder to choose new, healthy pathways. Think about the time and effort  it takes to create a new footpath! These learned responses were created over time  and now we need to spend time to override them with the same consistency to 

form new habits.

Over this 21 day program, work through daily guided meditations with corresponding journal activities. Learn different styles of meditation and start creating your own mindfulness practice. A specifically tailored nutrition program for those participating in the SLS 6 Week Challenge.

You've already committed to a physical challenge that will put your body to the test. We are here to come along side you, to support you in further optimizing how you feel and perform physically and mentally when these 6 weeks are complete.

Exercise causes stress on the body. This is good stress! However even good stress can become detrimental and harmful when not balanced. This is something we drive home during our 6 weeks with you so you see big results without a big crash.
