Not a day goes by when I am not grateful to be able to do what I love for a living... Merging my love for yoga and wellness, travelling and meeting new people, living consciously and minimally and integrating and connecting with community.

I grew up in Cochrane Alberta but was always encouraged to travel and see the world. I have journeyed to 40 countries and have seen some absolutely amazing place. However our family acreage in Cochrane, which we call "The Field of Dreams" will always be home. My husband and I now live in a Tiny Home, which we built after travelling for a year abroad. Prior to this trip, we sold all our things except the backpack we would bring on our journey. We wanted to stay minimal as we felt alive, light and free with less stuff weighing us down.

When I was 20, my father passed away in a ski accident. He played a huge role in encouraging me to travel, take risks and listen to that inner voice guiding me to be the best version of myself I could possibly be. After his death, it was and continues to be yoga that brings me peace. I can come to my mat each day to breathe, be present and connect to my own inner wisdom. My father's death is a driving force for the reason why I do what I do. Death teaches us just how unpredictable, precious and short life truly is. It taught me to LIVE.

My intentions both as a yoga instructor and human being on this earth are to foster community and create space for people to uncover and acknowledge their best selves. I believe that we all have something unique and special to offer our community to make us stronger, wiser and more connected.  We are all walking on this crazy and beautiful journey called life... let's do it together.

I am a 500 hour+ yoga certified instructor with training in both Canada and India. I have been teaching a variety of styles since 2012. I graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Arts in International and Community Development and have over 8 years of social work experience. I believe that a sense of connection to our higher self and a connection to others is the key to a full and happy life!

I grew up in Cochrane, graduated from the University of Calgary and received my Holistic Nutrition certificate through the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition, and most recently became a Human Optimization Coach through the Bulletproof Institute.  I am committed to guiding my clients to find their "flow", a sense of alignment with their life.  I believe in energizing through a real food high fat diet, select supplements, getting really clear on what matters most, and then taking appropriate action to realize one's highest potential.

I worked as a Nurse for more than 10 years before I decided to leave it all behind to pursue a life I could be passionate and excited for. My passion for health and wellness was born out of my own struggles with weight, poor body image, and above all a lack of self-love and acceptance.  I wanted to learn how to help myself get healthy.

After spending 3 months in Costa Rica, learning yoga, meditation, energy medicine, emotional release techniques, and living among beautiful wholehearted humans I felt the experience melted away some of my inner discomfort and finally felt seen, heard, loved and accepted. I found a sense of belonging. This gave me a new perspective on the possibilities of life.  My heart opened, love and hope flooded in, and I started to feel lighter.

Years later I found my struggling yet again.  I was now married, a mother to 2 young children and was working full time as a nurse. I was exhausted, irritable, stressed, struggling to keep up with all the demands of life.  It was getting harder to get out of bed in the morning, my energy was waning, and my ability to feel anything good was slipping away.  Soon after, I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease, Hypothyroid, Adrenal Insufficiency, and my hormones were all out of whack. There were solutions to my health struggles, I knew what I needed to do to get healthy. I fought my way out of the darkness and came out on the other side with a brighter light than ever. Today I support women with the same struggles I encountered through all my unexpected challenges and life experiences.  I combine my medical background and nutritional knowledge into a coaching practice.

My mission is to inspire and empower women to choose self-love, self-acceptance, compassion and kindness on their own life journey.
